(applause from the green room, audience is already quarantined)....Mr. Rodgers!... has CoronaCovid!  Acceptance speech from Hanks: “I would like to thank The Academy for choosing me to play this intriguing role—that of getting to be the first big movie star to play out this fake virus.... I know I’ve paid my dues and pleasured all the proper gatekeepers to finally reach this pinnacle of my craft—OUR craft (wink wink, nudge nudge)... but uhhh, yeah, it is still a great dishonor to work for it! Thank you! Oh! And don’t forget...when this role is done.. I will be playing Coron—I mean COLONEL Parker, Elvis Presley’s handler. Expected release date.... hmmm... sometime this fall when all the smoke (and mirrors) has cleared!”
