This came to me today . . . amidst the striving, working, painting alongside the Carpenter. . . . I pulled aside on my job to jot it down, write it out, pen to paper.

"Attention--it's all about attention. . . . What is 'attention'? Who, what, where are you looking at? Listening to? Everyone is desperate for attention, and the whole system is geared toward seducing that need. Money for attention, of any tawdry sort, is enough for the unbeliever. The devil's cheap wages given.
The mind, the soul . . . is a living being. Some things are built in--instincts for survival, survival instinct. So yes, you must needs pay attention to mere physical survival.
Then, there is where you find your added attention going towards. . . . Who . . . what . . . are you then being drawn towards--that which seeks attention? God or devil? Both desire attention. One is Holy, perfect. The other is corrupt, evil. . . .
Is it (your attention) striving toward God's Created Order, to The Lord? Are YOU striving to look at, listen to, wonder about, the One True and Only God? Is He the object of your "love"/attention . . . God?!!!
The devil steals & mis-directs your attention! There is little you can do (except what the angels righteously covet of human life, btw) but yearn!--Claw towards, pray for having, the blessing of Love of God . . . to find yourself worshipping, giving attention to HIM above ALL!"
Attention! But to Who, What, Where, When?
Praying and striving and caring and loving the HOW is then the order of the day. . . ."
