What Life Is Not Worth Living

A life without Christ is not a life worth living.

Speaking to those who have a false sense of, ie., "being a good person" . . . and even those who consider themselves "Christian"--who have a laissez-faire sanguinity regarding their standing with God--beware and brace yourself.  Pray that He stalls for your sake!  While it is still "day", repent, deny and defy the world and the evil one.

 "Alas, you who are longing for the day of the LORD,

         For what purpose will the day of the LORD be to you?
         It will be darkness and not light;
As when a man flees from a lion
         And a bear meets him,
         Or goes home, leans his hand against the wall
         And a snake bites him.
Will not the day of the LORD be darkness instead of light,
         Even gloom with no brightness in it?
 hate, I reject your festivals,
         Nor do I delight in your solemn assemblies.
Even though you offer up to Me burnt offerings and your grain offerings,
         I will not accept them;
         And I will not even look at the peace offerings of your fatlings.
Take away from Me the noise of your songs;
         I will not even listen to the sound of your harps.
But let justice roll down like waters
         And righteousness like an ever-flowing stream." --Amos 5:18-24

Dearest Bro. T.

Another great word.. Amos is so spot-on.. Just like the other prophets of old..
I remember someone else asking a question about what would be the ultimate reply/statement of rejection by the Lord.. "Get away from me and my presence!" Ouch! Personally, I think a lot of people have deluded themselves thinking they are worthy and "good" people.. I truly have no idea whether or not I am personally worthy enough to be in His presence.. Faith and possibly a few works is all I can claim.. And lots of missteps and errors along this journey.. I think it all comes down to whether the Lord can find something noteworthy within a person which can tip the scales in one's favor... And "favor" is a precious thing from the Lord..

Peace, love and the Lord's favor,
Roger
