A Glimpse Into His Kingdom

As expected, as predicted, prophesied, we are in (what appears to be) something like "the days of Noah."

Also, getting quite Sodom and Gomorrah-like out there.  For real. 

Some of my earliest . . . intuitions? impressions? "downloads"? messages? inspirations? "revelation"?

Early on, pre and early teens, I was indeed praying, thinking, reading scripture . . . and amidst many realizations, dreams and experiences and artistic inspirations etc., an early motif that impressed me, which I was, as a boy/young man, was a sort of expectation and "vision" of actually being in a time where "Armageddon" was looming.  And the apocalypse.

I wrote a song about it, about age 14 .... the chorus went "In the battle . . . of The Armageddon".   (Catchy tune, lol!  I still have it on cassette on lyrics printed somewhere in my archives).

BUT, I digress.

Bottom line is I am getting a whiff of that early sense.

I always felt time is short, this mortal life is a vapor.  Scripture supports that.  Time flies.  No matter what, fame, fortune, poverty, persecution, blessings, status, struggle . . . regardless of how one's individual life goes, IT ENDS.  "DEATH, HE'S WAITING IN THE WINGS, HE SPEAKS OF SENSELESS THINGS.  HIS TRICK IS YOU AND ME, BOYS."  --"Time" (Bowie)

So, one better figure out what it's all about.  Because, OBVIOUSLY, if it didn't matter, no one would go to the lengths they do to try and preserve their lives, let alone, their "legacy".

ANYWAY . . . my point, actually, was not here to get into Armageddon, and Days Of Noah, Sodom etc., things going on.  It definitely relates and undergirds the situation, however IN A BIG WAY, I DARE SAY!  There does seem to a "shortening of days" . . . a "quickening".

What I truly am compelled to share, with those who have graciously hung around and fellowship in this little corner of blessed commiseration, comradery, ALONG THE WAY! . . . HERE is what I want to convey as can (and I believe it is worth attempting, considering the current confluence of the tech and mind/biological control and spiritual and attempted "singularity" underway. . . .

I speak to those who have a relationship with The Holy Spirit.  The Spirit of Truth.  

It is deeper and beyond all of the experiences and insights and studies (including various metaphysics, spiritual seeking/disciplines/studies I've explored and sussed out). . . .

Nearly impossible to put into words. . . .  

Truly, it is something that The Spirit has to Show you, God willing.  Imploring Him to so that you can See it--even a sliver of a glimpse (as if, through a glass, darkly) however long it takes, is worth the struggle, perseverance and the wait!

Words fail.  But words are like signs, pointers, and if one has been steadfastly humbly seeking to know and understand Him; well, for one thing, He loves this!  And it is His purpose and will.  Many a desert, lonely night walk, amidst storms and attacks and mundane drudgery . . . take up a lot of The Way.

BUT THEN, He gives a glimpse, into the severe, wondrous, awesome, mind-blowing, literal reality OF HIS NATURE, BEING!  THE GREAT I AM THAT I AM.

Most all else is distraction, confusion, perversion and chaos.  The enemy does not stop, until he is stopped (which he will be, thank God!)

Meantime, OH! A blessed sight!  A peak, a peek, is granted!

"Holy" is the word most apt to approach His essence, nature, being.  He is separate. He is pure.  He is love!  He is good!  What appears to us to be a "judgmental" "wrathful" God, is because we see Him from our fallen, dis-connected, mortal perception and state of being.

There simply can be no presence of evil, rebellion, self-seeking, pride, sin etc., IN HIS PRESENCE.  For HE IS PERFECT, HOLY!

It is the wonder of wonders that God Himself, by and through His Son, took on flesh, and took on all of the darkness and sin and death repercussions from The Fall . . . such that we can be transformed into God's perfection and holiness, so that we can be with Him forever and revel in His glory.

From our self-centered fallen nature and vision, it seems as if God were capricious and Himself vindictive towards those who do not worship Him.  

First off, it is a blessing and a gift to be able to genuinely, sincerely worship God!

Also, it is not that God is being vindictive or retributive, as we understand those emotions, actions. . . .

It is simply THE FACT, THE TRUTH that no unclean thing can enter, be in Heaven, in His realm, in His presence.  He was merciful and gracious enough to send His Son, God as man, to witness, experience (as a man) and bear the weight of this conundrum, and solve it.  Through Jesus, we get to see the pure image and being of God, manifest for our mortal eyes, ears, thought, feelings, ENOUGH, that we are (humbly and as granted) able to approach Him and eventually enter and be a part of His family, sons and daughters of The Most High, to dwell FOREVER in His Kingdom!

Woe to those who hate God, who hate and reject holiness, righteousness!  Fools!  Wicked!  Self-loving cancers to themselves and others and to all of creation.  They will get their just--AND IT IS JUST!--reward.

Time is short.  Life is fleeting.  The stakes are high!  They are ultimate!  Absolute!  He is coming soon, and there is a looming, pressing pressure to cleave and align and get close to The Holy Spirit, WHO DOES communicate in REAL TIME and give direction, literally STEP BY STEP, moment to moment, breathe by breathe, if one can Hear and listen and obey.  He is kind, friendly, stern, funny, severe, fatherly, encompassing the all in all of who we are and what we were made for.  He loves when you take advantage of His comradery and intimacy, as a unique individual He Created.

(forgive me, words fail to convey Seeing the stark reality of the situation He has recently deigned to share with me, I dare say, but broken vessels that we are, He thus loves to share and redeem broken vessels, and even in this dark world, give slight glimpses into His majesty, mystery, Holiness, aseity and His eternal Kingdom.)
