Yes indeed my friend. We are deep behind enemy lines.
All to God's glory!
It is astounding to me, small, tiny, worthless (but for The Lord) creature . . . to be able to even barely appreciate and be grateful for being a graced part of His family and sovereign purposes.
To us mortal, fallen, worthless wretches . . . it is beyond comprehension that we are given any existence as individuals at all, let, being adopted into THE LORD OF ALL CREATION'S family, sons and daughters of God!
The fallen angel(s) is/are searingly resentful and malevolently intent to cause as much harm and torment as possible . . . to mankind. --Cor. 6:3 "Do you not know that we will judge angels. How much more the matters of this life?"
The Rebel knew this from the beginning of his resentment. Oh, he wanted to be numero uno! He wanted to be God.
And I do believe, from experience and observation and scripture . . . that we are surrounded on all sides. The fallen ones are ever seeking hosts. They are malevolent parasites. They are legion. One must be wise as the serpent (knowing their ways) but harmless as doves. The Lord fights our battles. And they flee at His Name . . . and the power of prayer is like a lance and a shield against them.
We must be realistic and not with our head in the sand, and ever alert, for they will find any weakness, any opening, any distraction, to influence and infest and attempt to take a hold. Not only within each, and in the broader world, but in those closest.
Yet, we never forget, we do not fight against flesh. As in, a tactic of theirs is to get you to blame and hate and seek vengeance against the vessels (flesh) instead of the actual, unseen (unless seen in the Spirit) enemy.
