Those who have "the eyes to see" can see that this is a spiritual battle . . . between good and evil. Evil is real, the Adversary is real and is going "about like a roaring lion . . . seeking whom he may devour."
Please do not let the overwhelming, non-stop political news and increasing mayhem related thereto . . . to displace regular ("constant" being the goal!) remembrance, devotion, study, communion with The Holy Spirit, God! Beware also the surges of fear. Fear (other than Godly fear) is a sin! For we have not been given a "spirit of cowardice/fear but of power and love and a sound mind/discipline." Overmuch psychological involvement with the events of the day can (indeed are designed to) induce a constant state of fear and thus, forgetfulness of The Lord--of spiritual matters, which are the ONLY purpose to our lives here . . . as we long for and look toward the world to come.
Anyhow, God bless you, thank you as always for your continued fellowship here, and those of you who have helped support this little watchman corner of things. . . .
