So . . . there are really only two religions, so-to-speak. . . .
"Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters." --Matt. 12:30
One is the way of self will; the other, the way of God's will.
All of the false religions, cults, "spiritual paths", philosophies, sects . . . which do not recognize the supremacy and perfection of God's will . . . are following the other religion (which has many disguises) which is nothing but the cult of Lucifer, the way of the devil. . . .
"Do what thou wilt, shall be the whole of the law" said the prophet of Satan, inaugurating the "new age" of "the triumph of the will" (Aleister Crowley); as he joined the centuries' long parade of false teachers and false prophets and antiChrists who, through the ages have been fighting against the sovereignty of The Lord, God YHWH with the same blasphemous claim.
From their perspective and deceived belief system, they (the rebels) actually think they have a chance to win, to beat Jehovah. According to their ideology (from the pit of Hell, and a big lie) they believe that there are two co-equal divinities in contention over the universe. The bad one is Jehovah, the God of the Bible. The good one is Lucifer, the "lightbringer". Jehovah is a tyrant who just wants to be obeyed and worshiped while Lucifer wants mankind to have "free will" to "do what he will" without suffering damning consequences. "Liberty!" the demon demands. "Be who you will! Do what you want" is the fallen ones' battle cry.
They expect to "make a better world" once the "God of the Bible" is finally vanquished and sent packing. They actually believe they will win--even that they are already winning. . . .
They see only a few holdouts anymore so that to their corrupted vision, victory appears near. Even most of the "Christian" churches and pastors teach the false religion of "free will/free agency" ("free" of God). The numbers seem to support their side. How many are there who truly believe and live "not my, but THY will be done"? How many truly submit to The Lord, have "laid aside the old self" (Eph. 4:22) . . . where it is "no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me"? --Gal. 2:20
But we who do not perish for a lack of knowledge have heard "many are called, FEW are chosen." We know to "enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that
leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are MANY." --Matt. 7:13
We know it is not a democratic election. It is a Sovereign election.
Which explains why the politicians of the World are obsessed with "spreading democracy" . . . as they believe if a majority "choose" the way of the devil then Jehovah must oblige and leave the stage, for "majority rules". . . .
But no, GOD rules!
There are only two religions. One is a way of self-righteous works; of doing and working FOR salvation ("enlightenment/illumination/liberation") . . . while the other is The Way of Christ's righteousness; of doing and working FROM salvation (by being saved from God's holy wrath through Christ's perfect sacrificial work.)
One way loathes and detests the wrath of God, the other see His glory in ALL His ways and character, including his wrath against sin. One way presumes to do better than God does; the other sees that God's way is the ONLY WAY, which is a perfect, just, good and holy way. . . .
One is a way of complaining, resentment, anger and rebellion. The other is a way of gratitude, grace, joy and submission. . . .
There is no in between. There is no gradation. There is no synergy, no blending of democratic plus Sovereign rule. You are either "for or against". . . .
Many are deceived and imagine that they are submitted to the Lord, whereas, in reality they serve the self alone--the way of Lucifer; which is the way of lies, the way of the Liar. For it is a lie that God's will is not supreme and that man (along with the devil) can set up successfully his own will against The Father.
Two religions, two ways, so-to-speak: Democratic (or self) rule versus God's sovereign rule alone.
The way of The Lie; the way of The Truth.
And "all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." --Rev. 21:8
