Yes, I think it is quite clear (to those with Eyes) that Pope Francis is making way for the coming One World Religion, which "religion" will be a new-agey, relativistic, humanistic, conglomeration of all anti-Bible-Christian cults and creeds. It won't even leave out the atheists, as he made sure to include in one of his all-inclusive homilies (see below).
Such developments only tend to strengthen my conviction in the truth of the Reformed view of things. For he is basically saying, along with ardent Arminians and human-free-will idolaters/proponents . . . that it is our WORKS which will "save" us, not GRACE/FAITH alone as the Bible states it: "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--not by works, so that no one can boast." --Eph. 2:8-9
His Marxist/Humanist, anti-Christ leanings are obvious in such statements as:
“For me, hope is in the human person… I believe in man. I’m not saying man is good or bad, just that I believe in man.” --Francis, Conversations, p. 220
It is hard to imagine a more un-Biblical, anti-Christian statement than that. "Hope" in the "human person"? The Bible teaches: "Blessed [is] the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is." --Jer. 17:7
Paul says: "For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope." --Rom. 8:24
Francis sees his hope . . . which is in man. This is flat-out demonic, blasphemous theology. The Believer's hope is in Christ and Christ alone.
And Francis assures he is not "saying man is good or bad, just that I believe in man."
Again, I thank God for the light of Reformed vision, which is simply vision that Sees clearly into the meaning of scripture. Catholics, Mormons, Muslims, New Agers, Wiccans, Pagans, JW's, and virtually all cultists disagree heartily with the Biblical/(and I assert "Reformed") view that mankind is THAT--that the human, man or woman can WORK their good works up to the point of salvation. Whereas, Scripture teaches that repentance is a GIFT from God (2 Tim. 2:25) and that faith itself is a GIFT from God (not something you earn) (Eph. 2:8).
Francis' hope in man, refusing to cast man as "bad" robs God of His due glory, and is utterly Satanic, it is likewise flatly contradicted by Holy Scripture: "All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, NOT EVEN ONE." --(emphasis mine)Rom. 3:12
""There is no one righteous, not even one . . ." Rom. 3:10
Here are some other jarring and Biblically offensive statements from the communist-friendly, humanist Pope:
“I often say that the only glory we have, as Saint Paul says, is that of being sinners.” --Francis, Conversations, pp. 120-121
Our "glory" should we have any is only that which comes from Christ! There is no glory in being a sinner. Sin is an abomination to God! ["God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day." --Psalm 7:11; "The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the
godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their
wickedness," --Rom 1:18]
“It’s true that I was, like the rest of my family, a practicing Catholic. But my mind was not made solely for religious questions… I read Our Word and Proposals, a publication by the Communist Party, and I loved every article ever written by Leonidas Barletta, one of their best-known members…” --Francis, Conversations, p. 39
“When we read about Creation in Genesis, we run the risk of imagining God was a magician, with a magic wand able to do everything. But that is not so,” Francis said.
“He created human beings and let them develop according to the internal laws that he gave to each one so they would reach their fulfillment.” --Pope Francis addressing the plenary assembly of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences
Francis' opening the door to the acceptance of naturalist evolution is par for the course. He obviously starts with man's words and supposed "science" and then wants to adjust the Word of God to that!
The theory of evolution proposed as a valid "scientific" explanation for origins . . . is a joke. While "micro-evolution" and "adaptation" are observable and in line with Biblical teaching, "macro-evolution" as a theory is devoid of proof--it is an absurdity and the dirty little secret among many top scientists is that it is largely being abandoned as a satisfactory explanation of origins and so-called "species development". (ie., see http://www.aboundingjoy.com/scientists.htm ...... http://www.amazingfacts.org/media-library/book/e/33/t/how-evolution-flunked-the-science-test.aspx
And here below is Pope F's notorious assertion that even atheists can get into heaven (based on their good works). But I must add, that for many Christians who are quick to lambaste this statement, they ought consider that their own beliefs in "universal atonement" . . . that "Christ died for everyone" are roughly in the same theological camp and bound for the same theological conclusion as Francis--along with all those who decry and deride the Reformed understanding of "limited atonement" (also known as "effective atonement" or "particular redemption")
I wonder sometimes, does it not make such folks feel a bit uncomfortable to be sharing the same theological bed as this Marxist/humanist, universalist, blasphemous Pope? . . . . But I digress.........
"The Lord has redeemed all of us, all of us, with the Blood of Christ: all of us, not just Catholics. Everyone! ‘Father, the atheists?’ Even the atheists. Everyone! And this Blood makes us children of God of the first class! We are created children in the likeness of God and the Blood of Christ has redeemed us all! And we all have a duty to do good. And this commandment for everyone to do good, I think, is a beautiful path towards peace. If we, each doing our own part, do good to others, if we meet there, doing good, and we go slowly, gently, little by little, we will make that culture of encounter that so much. We must meet one another doing good. ‘But I don’t believe, Father, I am an atheist!’ But do good: we will meet one another there." --Pope Francis
“God is not afraid of new things!” Francis exclaimed in his homily Sunday. “That is why he is continually surprising us . . . [we must make sure the church adapts methods to respond to the] "growing needs of our time and the changing conditions of society." --Pope Francis
This one is another doozy from the false "Father". "God is not afraid of new things" . . . . Really? He made this comment when broaching the subject of "same-sex marriage" . . . where he was obviously trying to get the "conversation" started . . . which will eventually (I suspect) lead to some major revisions in the way the Catholic church treats homosexuality and gay marriage.
Anyway, it is a stupid, un-Biblical comment to make. What has God said on the matter?
"What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun." --Ecc. 1:9
Pope F's aside . . . seems to imply that God adjusts His truth and commandments (His Holiness in other words) according to the "changing times." This is ludicrously un-Biblical and contradicts the revealed character of God which is un-changing and definitely does not yield to fallen society's current or "modern" changing "norms." Murder is always wrong. Idolatry is always wrong. Romans 1:20-32 taught by Paul, which is the Word of God . . . is just as relevant today as when it was God-breathed!
An upside to the ongoing heretical and blasphemous verbal emissions by the humanist, universalist, Marxist-sympathizing Pope is that it ought to present some Christians with a good scale against which to balance their own Biblical and theological suppositions and beliefs. We see that many word-faith, Arminian, free-will exalting Pentecostals are quite comfortable with Rome's new twists, for instance.
And that ought to sound some alarms, and I would hope lead some to question just where their soteriological views have taken them. . . . To Rome?
