"Glory in His holy name;
Let the heart of those who seek the Lord be glad.
Seek the Lord and His strength;
Seek His face continually.
Remember His wonderful deeds which He has done,
His marvels and the judgments from His mouth. . . ." --1 Chron. 16:10-11
SEEK HIS FACE CONTINUALLY. . . . LOOK TO THE LORD CONTINUALLY. . . .
These words are not just platitudes but hold instead power greater than any purported esoteric mystic mantra or secret incantation. . . . People swarm the world over, or harbor writhing covetings continually . . . day after day . . . their minds and hearts on everything BUT the Lord. . . .
But this is one of the signs of being a Child of God--a true Believer, a disciple, born again in Spirit and in truth--that they ALWAYS are LOOKING TO THE LORD, not to this or that creature, but to the Creator; not to this or that "new" theory or idea or philosophy or "spiritual" technique, for these are all vanity! But instead, the believing ones look to the Lord, their God, day in, day out and are not swayed by foolish emotions or devious propaganda. . . .
Do not let yourself drift in these times of trouble. We are at war and should be warring constantly for the faith, against the enemy and his multiplying minions, surrounded as we are. Nevertheless, the Lord will lose NONE . . . NONE! that the Father has given Him!
Beware and be aware every day now, for the attacks on your mind are constant and the enemy is every moment seeking to draw your attention away from the faith that has saved you and make you a useless laborer in the fields of harvest.
Work out your salvation with fear and trembling; fear God, not men or women who are themselves led astray by silly diversions, base instincts and endless doomed self-seeking.
Day in, day out, join the battle! Exult in His mercy and grace in your life, that He saved a wretch like you!
Are you for real . . . or do you exhibit a cheap, lazy belief that is drawn more toward the gossip and filthy ephemera that the world shovels out daily, addicted to vain and fleeting fancies of the moment . . . in this electronic, technotronic, technological, "social media" day. . . . . ?
God bless and strengthen us all in this, I pray, amen!
