Don't let it be just another day . . . . Our God is present everywhere . . . . He sees everything, knows everything and His presence is everywhere. Omniscient . . . omnipresent!
That means while you are thinking about your self--what you want for today, what is vexing you . . . all the material cares you want fixed and satisfied--He is there waiting, watching, wanting . . . that you think of Him!
And that you are hearing His will and seeking to obey--obey because you love Him more than anything and anyone.
But do you? Or are your first thoughts about this and that mundane task that needs addressing . . . for your self?
Is it just another rote, blandly tedious day? Worse yet, is your heart filled with lusts and yearnings and covetings, anger and jealousy? Is it just a thick bed of weeds--in your mind, your consciousness, which choke out the Spirit, which block the light of His presence, so that you stumble around the day in a morass of dark and petty concerns?
OUR GOD--IS HERE NOW! IN YOU, IN ME! Is it just that vaguely we think of Him sometime in the day, usually when we want something, then continue on in our own efforts to secure this or that provision for the body, for the ego, for the flesh? Truly, we should be so astounded . . . that we fall to our knees and just thank and praise Him for His being and for His love and care at having created us--and that, even though we are wrought in sin, and continue to sin relentlessly, He loved us so much and wishes relationship with us, that He was scourged and killed on our behalf!
Do not let this shocking, bold fact slip too far away from your daily awareness!
This is why we must defend and fight for the faith, for the truths He has revealed to us, which guide our way and have the power to save any who will listen and accept.
What about this Jesus that the Mormons put in their church's name? Why is it such an affront what they say about Him?
They say . . . He did a lot, indeed . . . but not quite enough. His suffering and death . . . wasn't quite enough to fill the bill! Foremost, YOU must do all you can do to perfect yourself . . . then . . . maybe . . . His grace will chip in and do the rest.
This does not honor God! This comes nowhere near the honor and devastating thankfulness and dependency with which the fallen person approaches Jesus! We are nothing! We are wretches! "There is none good, no not one!" What egomaniacal fool believes they have, of their own ability, the power to do good and please God? Or that, someday, by our own works, we can be just as good or better than God? This is a lie from the devil himself!
We are JUSTIFIED by Jesus Christ! "JUST_AS_IF_I'D_NEVER_SINNED" . . . is what we are ONLY because He purchased our lives through His bloody, broken, tortured sacrifice on the cross! Who dares to minimize His sacrifice by teaching a doctrine that says . . . that wasn't quite enough! That we are able to ADD to His work with our works . . . and maybe then . . . be saved . . . if we did enough . . . .
Flat out disgusting and wicked that!
Are you becoming more like Christ? Every day? The Holy Spirit is in the reborn believer and daily will guide and strengthen the disciple's walk . . . to more and more conform to the person and image of the Lord.
Or, is it just another day to look at and become more like the world? Does the world still entice? You still want to be "somebody" in the world--get it's accolades, it's praises, it's acceptance. In fact, maybe you want to "succeed" in the world. You claim the Lord as your Master, but really, the world is your master, which is shown by how much you think of Him, pray to Him, work for Him . . . . Does your money go to support the selfish dreams and promotions of the worldly . . . or the people of God? Is it even in your heart and mind to CARE about other people, or is it just another day to seek more pleasures for your self, as if they could be stored and taken beyond inevitable death?
Nothing will be taken at death . . . except that which was done in and for God and the building of His kingdom. ALL other kingdoms, of this world, are bound for the eternal fire, it is Written, beware.
But do you even fear God? If you did, every day would be begun with a trembling. He is here. He is everywhere, omniscient, omnipresent . . . . All of our miserable, sinful, selfish, vengeful, angry, covetous thoughts He sees--nothing is hidden. So, pious showings on the exterior do not and will not fool Him; and where more is known, more is required. Do you know better? Yet you continue to cavort with the ungodly and their systems and games and orgies and diversions--all intended to KEEP you from daily, REAL relationship with Him; focused instead on the doomed priorities of this debased world.
Is it just another day, trudging along at the behest of the wicked and prideful? Or another day looking for and listening and obeying GOD, being His light and love on the earth?
"I am Thy message, Lord. Throw me like a blazing torch into the night, so that all may see and understand what it means to be Thy disciple!" Maria Skobstova
Now, we must live EVERY DAY, remembering this! Living as it is so, because it IS so, for them that believe!
Amen? Amen! :)

It's hard to feel it and live it when buried and swimming in the world's crap, but I do know it. What you say is true. Our God is everywhere all the time. The Bible says it over and over: "Do not be afraid for I am with you always."
