Coming Attractions and Fire on the Doorstep

heh . . . I finally just got a chance to give my autograph . . . UPON REQUEST! . . . .

Well, I'm working down in the city today...and get the call from my wife heading up the mountain from the store to our house, telling me . . . a fire is over the hill, fired trucks going by her . . . . We live on the foothills, and the whole state is on fire . . . so, we've been partially expecting trouble....

She says she'll call me when home to give me a report how close the fire is . . . .

But before that i start getting calls from ... people "is your house on fire? ... I hear they are evacuating your neighborhood..." ...

So...... I decide I better put away the paint brush and head home.... a good 30 miles away ...

As it turned out... no, the fire was not that close... but a little close for comfort. We walked to the top of the street to look out across the foothills below to the mountain across the way and could see the shooting flames and copters .... A local ABC news van was there and the reporter, killing time came over and chatted us up while me, ma and Isaac took turns with the binocs....

Finally, it was time for his report and he asked me if I'd do a quick interview .... heh.. its been a while since i've had a chance to ham it up ... so obliged ... bandanna, paint splattered cut of t-shirt and all .....
And gave a stellar, tense, worrisome bit--which was genuine by-the-way--because, seriously, if the canyon winds change... as fast as that fire was moving around the mountains over there ... we COULD actually be looking at having to evacuate ....

Our next door neighbor's two cute little girls were up there, top of the street, and saw that I was "on the news" ... and so, after we walked back home... one of them ran out with a pen and paper and asked for my autograph ...lol . . . . too cute... :) ......

But yeah... the fire thing ... I mention the other day ... getting real up close and personal ! ....

Meanwhile.... I wanted to say... coming attractions ... I'm excited to get to here ....on my mind and heart...

A rant ....  A cathartic rant I hope to relay ... mostly for fun ... and for the fun of sometimes just talking the truth without concern for ..... this or that, so-to-speak ... on a several relevant issues I've noted the past little while.... all politically, social, religious "correctness" aside ..... :)

AND..... I have something on the Parable of the Sower ..... something I've not heard before .... come to me that I want to "riff" on .. . . .  potentially profound--at the very least, hopefully "interesting" . .  .. . .

And .... someone wrote me a while ago about their gangstalking problem .... I want to address that .... but perhaps in a way not normally addressed .....  which will also get into iconoclasm . . . . and the smashing of idols ....
yep.... I'm gonna relate idolatry .... to gangstalking .... but it goes toward a much bigger picture ... a weakness and mistake that we all make .... I suggest .... AND .... a most powerful answer and technique to deal with such things (of which there will be more as we enter the global totalitarian regime ... ) .....
