Every day should begin, upon the first realization of waking, that you rush to find your Master. Not with thoughts and plans of what YOU want and need to do that day, but before all such worldly cares begin to fill your mind and heart--your soul--you first run to the hem of Jesus. Pray immediately, such as, first for gratitude, giving thanks for the gift of life, of being made--what a marvelous creature He has designed. One day, in the world to come, you will rule over every created thing, even the angels, even shall judge them. But pride will not involved whatsoever. So, knowing the promises, upon waking, run to remember having a grateful heart for all things, good and bad that come your way, as He will make them all good.
And pray for humility and for love of God, that He gives you both, which are treasures above anything this corrupted world can offer.
Then recall regularly throughout the day, What and Who this life is for. Not for a confused and petty self seeking vain pursuits which will all be burnt to stubble. But for He Who grants life everlasting when this age is through.
At night, or when it is time to sleep again--that little death--go again and find Him, asking for mercy and grace and giving thanks, determined to hand over all concerns and worries to His care wisdom, knowing that we never choose what is best for us, but always what is worst, and so are grateful that He gives us all manner of tests and challenges meant to bring us to that holy place where we realize that we have no hope, no plan, no scheme, no ability except what is His will to provide.
There is a full scale, top to bottom, inside outside . . . attack underway to crush Believers and make all creation bow before a purely evil, usurping, anti-Christ spirit. People are dropping like flies in the poisonous air of this wickedness, going mad, lashing out, or quietly conforming to get temporary boon while the beast has its last dying moments of power.
The weak in faith will be swept away in the torrents of this storm, or they will simply conform and be lost that way.
Whatever has gone before, now is a time when the disciple should bookend each day with a determined and consistent effort to stay close to the Lord in spirit, and throughout the day. And be not moved by the increasing and surrounding horrors to the eyes, which will be seen not just afar, but in your own towns and cities. Violence will spread, martial law, and direct and officially sanctioned assaults on the Body of Christ, the remnant, as the adversary falls to using blunt, basic force, all pretenses gone, to coerce complicity and subjugation of body AND soul.
But while he may attack and control the body, never . . . NEVER can he conquer the soul unless you acquiesce and submit within. So, regardless of what happens on the outside, the disciple can and will remain FREE where true freedom actually exists. There are plenty of people who appear to be free, and claim to be free . . . but are utterly enslaved WITHIN, driven and controlled by their sins such as greed, envy, lust, fear, vengeance . . . .
The disciple, the Believer, can stay free throughout all that will occur, and here again is reason to give thanks, for His yoke is sweet, is light, and only one subjection do we acquiesce to--not hundreds, like the lovers of sin--but just one, which paradoxically, brings freedom, and that is in giving up our own life (as if we ever owned it!) and submitting to One Who is perfect and Who is love.
Now is the time to establish habits of continual prayer and closeness to the Lord, bookending the day and throughout, with gratitude, submission, love and humility, staying in remembrance of the one and only purpose, above all, of this life.
The events unfolding . . . require this kind of devotion and practice . . . in order to keep your (spiritual) God focused wits about you and so not be swept away in the diversions of violence and confusion and contention.
Thank you, friends and occasionally onlookers, for sharing your time and prayers, God blesses you,
